THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Submit an adoption application below
~ a more in depth version will be sent for you to complete by email if things move forward
Home check
~ a review of your home (usually by video) to ensure the cat you adopt will be safe and that you´re a good fit for each other
Pay the adoption fee to make it official!
~ usually around €50 depending on what costs need to be covered (vaccinations, chip etc). Travel is then arranged if you are not local to Málaga
Vet checks
~ an approved vet gives any necessary treatment and legal paperwork is prepared. Cats in adoption usually have core vaccinations, an FIV & FeLV test, neuter, antiparasite treatments, microchip and passport (plus rabies jabs & RAIA registration if travelling abroad)
Your adopted cat begins travel to your home!
~ If travelling abroad, 48 hours quarantine is required before the pet transport bus leaves. Then the cat arrives the next day. The transport fee is payable at least one week before travel (fees are around €80 to Germany, €100 to The Netherlands and 400 GB pounds to England)
